Ernest Bryant is a supporting cast member on seasons four through six of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
A supporting protagonist during his time on the show. It chronicles his life after being released from prison, and his struggles with his relationship with Deborah “Momma Dee” Bryant. He was previously married to Deborah before he went to prison. Ernest was arrested after Deborah called the police on him after he stole money from Lil Scrappy, and the cops found drugs in his car. This causes friction when the two attempt to remarry for Ernest’s mother Bessie, and Deborah’s daughter Jasmine.
Before Love & Hip Hop[]
Ernest Bryant is Momma Dee's ex-husband. They married on May 24, 1996. She sent him away to prison for seven years when he was caught with drugs after she called the cops on him for stealing money from Scrappy.
Love & Hip Hop franchise (2015–2018; 2020)[]
Ernest joins the supporting cast of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in season four after being released from prison. He and Momma Dee rekindle their romance and remarry in the season finale. He continues to appear throughout seasons five and six, he and Dee's marital struggles serving as the show's comic relief.
He returns in a guest role in one episode of season seven.
