He has a son, Karl Sharif Dargan Jr. (born August 28, 2015) with Lil' Mo and previously appeared with her on R&B Divas: Los Angeles.

Karl joined the supporting cast of Love & Hip Hop: New York in season eight, which chronicles his marital struggles.
He does not return to the show after the season's reunion special, where Mo announces she is pregnant with her sixth child & his fourth child. Later on social media, Mo would announce that she had a miscarriage.
