Momma Dee is a supporting cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Before Love & Hip HopEdit

Momma Dee is the mother of Lil Scrappy. She is a former pimp and drug dealer who ran a brothel for ten years under the name "Lady Dee". In addition to Scrappy, she has a daughter, Jasmine Brown, and is also the cousin of Yung Joc.

Love & Hip Hop franchise (2012–present)Edit

Momma Dee joined the supporting cast of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2012 and is one of the show's original cast members, serving a similar role as Mama Jones on Love & Hip Hop: New York, as the show's eccentric, overbearing mother meddling in her son's relationships with women. The first two seasons chronicle her strained relationship with Scrappy's baby mama Erica Dixon and her mother Mingnon, as she plays matchmaker between Scrappy and Shay Johnson. In season three, while Scrappy is dating Bambi, she plays matchmaker between Scrappy and Erica Pinkett, igniting a violent feud between the two women.

Dee's own love life is explored on the show from season four onwards, after her ex-husband Ernest Bryant joins the cast. The two rekindle their romance and remarry in the season finale. Her and Ernest's marital struggles serve as the show's comic relief through seasons five, six and seven. In season eight, she clashes with Bambi's mother Cece, as they prepare for the birth of their grandchild.

Since 2014, Dee has achieved relative success as a pop singer, releasing the viral singles "I Deserve" and "In That Order".

Dee also appears in three episodes of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: After Party Live!, in a cameo in Leave It to Stevie, while attending Stevie's opening, and in the specials Dirty Little Secrets, 40 Greatest Love & Hip Hop Moments, The Wedding, Joseline's Special Delivery, Dirty Little Secrets 2, The Love Edition, Love & Hip Hop Awards: Most Certified (where she won the Mommy Dearest category) and 40 Greatest Love & Hip Hop Moments: The Reboot.
