The special is executive produced by Mona Scott-Young and Stephanie Gayle for Monami Entertainment and Toby Barraud, Stefan Springman, Mala Chapple and Robyn Nish Friedman for Eastern TV. Susan Levison, Nina L. Diaz, Vivian Gomez and Ken Martinez executive produce for VH1.

This 1-hour special features a panel of LGBT hip hop artists to discuss homosexuality in the hip hop, along with allied journalists and executives, as well as straight and religious figures representing their point of view.
