Peter Gunz is a supporting cast member on seasons four through seven and ten of Love & Hip Hop: New York.

He was a major antagonist on seasons 4 through 6 of the show, and is known for his controversial storyline involving his back and forth affairs with Tara and Amina resulting in dueling pregnancies. The storyline was poorly received, and Gunz received tremendous backlash. By season seven, Gunz, Wallace, and Amina were phased out from the show.

Gunz makes several minor appearances before returning as a special guest star for the final season of New York. He tries to mediate a conflict between Cisco, and Rich Dollaz, but it ends with Cisco and Gunz getting into a physical altercation.

Before Love & Hip Hop[]

He has been in an off-again, off-again relationship with Tara Wallace since 2000, and is the father of her sons, Jamison, born October 14, 2008, and Kaz, born January 6, 2012. He has five children from previous relationships, Cory Gunz, Whitney, Brandon, Kennedi and Phoenix.

Love & Hip Hop franchise ([2020|2013–2018; 2020])[]

Peter first appears as a guest star in season three of Love & Hip Hop: New York, as Rich's friend and confidante.

Peter joins the supporting cast in season four. During the season, it is revealed that he has married another woman, Amina, behind Tara's back, leading to a violent showdown between the two women. The dramatic storyline, reminiscent of the love triangle featured on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, garnered the highest ratings in the show's history. At the fourth season reunion, Amina reveals that she is pregnant with Peter's child, and gives birth to a daughter, Cori, during season five. However, Peter continues to go back and forth between Tara and Amina, leading to a controversial period in season six in which the two women are pregnant at the same time. In season seven, he welcomes to his ninth and tenth child, Gunner, by Tara, and Bronx, by Amina.

Peter returns as a guest star in several episodes in season eight. He also appears in the specials The Wedding, Dirty Little Secrets and The Love Edition.
