Trick Daddy is a main cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Miami and one of the show's original eight cast members.
The lead male and narrator of Miami, the series chronicles Trick's latest music ventures including a collaboration album with close friend Trina. The constant delays causes friction with Trina, but the two later make amends. The show highlights him dealing with his relationship with ex-wife Joy, and his health issues with his Lupus. The series chronicles a publicized arrest Young face, when asked on the show about it, Young refused to talk about the matter.
Before Love & Hip Hop[]
is a rapper and record producer. He is the self-proclaimed "Mayor of the 305", born and raised in Liberty City. Trick Daddy rose to fame in the early 2000s, with a string of Billboard Hot 100 hit singles and albums released on the Slip-n-Slide Records. In 2009, he was diagnosed with lupus, which he refuses to take medication for. He has a long criminal history of drug possession and weapons charges and in recent years has faced a number of financial difficulties, having declared bankruptcy three times.
Love & Hip Hop franchise (2018–present)[]
In April 2016, Trick confirmed that he would be joining the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Miami, which would premiere on January 1, 2018. The show chronicles his latest music projects, including the launch of TNT, his new joint album with Trina. In the first season, he is reunited with his estranged wife Joy, who he has been separated from for four years. In the second season, he clashes with Trina while attempting to finish their album together.
